Annie’s Homegrown, Inc. is an organic food company widely loved for its delicious products and adorable bunny mascot. In 2013, it selected Chelten House Productions as its The Green Bernie Award recipient—an honor given in recognition of a vendor’s high level of sustainability.

San Francisco-based Ella Prints commissioned Ahlers Designs (on behalf of Annie’s) to design an appreciation art piece representing the value of environmental stewardship that defines Annie’s.

Ahlers Designs believes in the power of green innovation through art, and Gail set to work on designing a bunny sculpture as unique as it is eco-friendly.

Vibrant, green, and playful, the sculpture was created from recycled glass obtained from Annie’s Natural Salad Dressing bottles. The company’s “rabbit approval” shines on the front of the sculpture in gold, and the end result shows that corporate and environmental success can go hand-in-hand—beautifully.
